Our farm is nestled between vineyards and fruit trees in Sonoma Valley. We are just north of San Francisco between the Mayacamas and Sonoma mountains. The Clove Grove's garden has a soil composition that combines clay and volcanic elements. To nurture our crops, we frequently rototill our gardens with plenty of organic compost.


Sonoma's climate is a gardeners gift. From May to October, we embrace sun-soaked days that helps our garlic flourish. As fall approaches, we eagerly await the arrival of winter rains, replenishing Northern California’s water reserves. It’s this harmonious blend of soil, climate, and care that allows our garlic to thrive. Planting begins in November, with harvest usually reaching its peak towards the end of May.
